Definition: A function $f:\real^d \to \real$ is called uniformly continuous if for all $\eps > 0$, there exists $\delta > 0$ such that for all $\x, \y \in \real^d: \norm{\x-\y} < \delta$, we have $\abs{f(\x)-f(\y)} < \eps$.
